 Argus develops new Comprehensive Emergency Management Plans (CEMPs) and evaluates or revises existing ones for residential health care facilities (RHCFs), including hospitals, nursing homes, ambulatory surgical centers, and adult living facilities.  

   These plans may include hazard analysis, fire safety plans, evacuation procedures, risk assessments, and vulnerability studies. Argus also develops customized emergency response plans for businesses, government agencies, educational institutions, healthcare facilities, and other critical sectors. 

The establishment of mitigation procedures leads to stronger, more resilient businesses and organizations by reducing the loss of life and minimizing property damage. In addition, mitigation measures enable individuals and communities to recover more rapidly from disasters which allow a more rapid return to their customary way of life. If appropriate measures are not taken, the financial impact of a disaster can last for months if not years.  Argus provides a comprehensive approach tailored to the needs of the individual client to ensure that those outcomes are achieved. 

From discussion-based exercises designed to orient employees to new or updated plans, policies, or procedures, through the development of plan drafts or policies, to full-scale exercises involving federal, state, local entities, the management team at Argus has extensive experience and leadership. We provide consultation, managing the exercise from design to evaluation. 

Argus examines and validates existing policies, plans, procedures, training, regimens, and equipment. Argus trains personnel on incident  response roles in order to improve interagency and interdepartmental coordination and communications. We identify gaps in resources. We identify opportunities for work-related improvement on an individual and/or company wide scale.
